Working Together to make this a more "AWESOME" town

It all began as a thought - In thinking about the name of our town "Austintown", the thought came to mind, "Austintown ... Awesome town!" Wouldn't it be great if that's the way we all thought of each other and this community in which we live?

So what would it take to make that happen?

Those thoughts led to some conversations, which, in turn, led to some creative imaginings. Co-organizers Brad Bloomster  and Rev. El-marie Parker shared these ideas with an ever-expanding group of people about the possibility of a community wide fall festival as a good first step.Informational meetings were held to share the idea with the general public. And those who were interested have continued to meet in order to plan and develop the "Awesometown Fall Festivals"

Our Goals:  

1. To celebrate all things good about Austintown.
2. To build relationships and goodwill among all who live here
3. To help connect the people in need with the resources available right here in our community.

And as a result, hopefully, bring our community together in such a way that we can all truly say that we live in an...
                    "AwesomeTown.US"
